KL Rahul Declared as fully fit and accounced that he will be available for the selection in Asia cup

 KL Rahul is capable of competing in the 2023 Asia Cup.

KL Rahul, the wicketkeeper batter , who was on the road to recovery, appears ready to play international cricket once he has reached peak fitness. During the Indian Premier League 2023 match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, the wicketkeeper batter suffered an injury.

Rahul was hurt on May 1 while trying to stop a boundary in the second over for his team, the Lucknow Super Giants, against Royal Challengers Bangalore. He quickly clutched his right thigh before limping off the field. He was batting at number eleven when Lucknow lost by 18 runs, and despite facing three balls, he was unable to run or score a run.

The wicketkeeper batter has been seen practicing in the nets in recent days.

KL Rahul is currently "completely fit and available for selection," according to TOI, and could rejoin Team India for the Asia Cup in 2023.

"Rahul's progress and recovery have pleased the coaches and doctors at the BCCI's National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. According to additional reports, he will be available for selection for the Asia Cup.

The Asia Cup 2023 will take place in Sri Lanka and Pakistan from August 30 through September 13. On September 2, India and Pakistan will square off in their opening match at Pallekele.

While Shreyas Iyer, a batsman, is unlikely to be available for the Asia Cup because of a back problem that has persisted despite surgery and prevents him from being ready to play.

Team India is currently engaged in a five-match T20I series against the West Indies, where the Men in Blue lost the first game. After this series is complete, the squad will play three T20Is against Ireland, where Jasprit Bumrah is likely to play given that he just made his long-awaited return to international competition.
